Fashion Friday: I Love Ugly's FIFA World Cup Caps, Atelier de l'Armée + More

Fashion Friday is back this week with a fresh dose of fashion news. Brooklyn-based skateboard company Mood unveiled their Spring/ Summer 14 collection, featuring graphic artist Michael Willis, painter So Yoon Lym and designer Joel Evey. The lookbook is really interesting and what we love the most is the highlight on hair braiding. You'll find some graphic print t-shirts, caps, skateboard decks for men and women.

A brand that wants to step up in terms of inspiration is Atelier de l'Armée. They initially created the label to bring some durable materials and timeless designs, drawing inspiration from the functionality and durability of vintage workwear and military clothing. This week, they released their Spring/ Summer 14 lookbook and respected their first will.  A capsule collection of jackets, shirts, trousers with a cool color palette are part of this new collection as well as handcrafted bags and leather goods.

LA-based label Saint Rita Parlor is on every mouth at OKP at the moment. Named after designer Neil Bardon's grandmother, the eyewear brand aims to provide acetate frame with an old family tradition, some collectable coins. Little extra: they always produce 100 pairs per new frame to make sure you'll get something fresh and unique. This is a definitely a great catch for this summer and furthermore to get timeless bold glasses.

Another streetwear lookbook for the season just came out entitled 'Living The Good Life'. That is all we wish to all the Okayplayers. Munich-based label Beastin got inspiration from the Venice Beach look and designed a fun Spring/ Summer 14 capsule collection. A wide-range of classic pieces and up-to-the-minute graphics, the lookbook is neat with a contemporary feel.

Last but not least, the inescapable event of the year, the FIFA World Cup got a lot of attention from the fashion world. New Zealand label I love Ugly created a football hat collection with a series of 5-panel caps, rooted by the flags of France, Italy, Japan, Germany, Croatia and Mexico. These are high quality hats with genuine leather patches, adjustable buckles and limited to 100 units each worldwide.
