The electro rework of the gem from McFarlane's If You Knew Her LP opens with a series of pulsating crescendos that take flight with the addition of McFarlane's delicately nuanced vocal, which bounces off of the effects and stunning string work. The spacious cinematic production retains an air of suspense from start to finish, with the emotional gravity broken only by bubbling percussion, warm keys and the bright highs of McFarlane's voice.
