A Third Suspect Has Been Arrested in the Murder of XXXTentacion

A third suspect was arrested Wednesday morning after being indicted in the killing of 20-year-old Florida rapper XXXTentacion.

Robert Allen, 22,of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., was arrested in central Georgia, the United States Marshals confirmed Thursday.

According to sheriff’s records, Allen was being held in Dodge County, Ga. after he was taken into custody by the Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force.

Deputy United States Marshal John Edgar said that the task force had learned earlier in the week that he may have been staying with relatives in Eastman, Ga. Edgar reportedly said that after conducting “a lot of surveillance over the last couple days,” Marshals approached the home Wednesday and arrested Allen at about 11:45 a.m.

The suspect is expected to be extradited to Broward County, Fla., within the next 10 days.

He had previously been named a person of interest in XXXTentacion's murder case, and was one of four men indicted on first-degree murder charges last week.

XXXTentacion, born Jahseh Onfroy, died shortly after he was shot in Florida on June 18.
