Watch The Roots Pay Tribute To Sean Price On The Tonight Show
Much of the world is still grieving the loss of Sean Price, having passed in his sleep last week, far too young and far too cherished by the hip-hop community and Brooklyn at-large. Many have paid tribute to the fallen king, but last week, our very own took the opportunity to hold up a flame on one of late-night's biggest stages. The Roots crew would be their name and the stage would be that of The Tonight Show's, where ?uesto, Tariq, Kirk, Ray (subbing in for Kamal on the keys,) Tuba, Mark, James, Frankie and the Dap-Tones horns led a proud and loud tribute to the fallen BK legend in between segments, chanting the man's name over a heavy live rendition of "Onion Head."
