This year's BET Experience Festival lineup has just been released--and it's got a strong Soulquarian vibe to it. The fest will feature, amongst many others, The Roots and Erykah Badu performing the music of J Dilla at Los Angeles's Club Nokia on Saturday, June 27th. Other highlights of the Experience Festival's lineup include Miguel, funnyman Kevin Hart, Bel Biv DeVoe with Doug E. Fresh, Snoop Dogg and Ice Cube.
And on top of all that, BET has gone and booked almost the entire TDE collective. Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Jay Rock and Ab-Soul will all play the Staples Center on Saturday, June 27th. The entire festival is shaping up to be a legendary West Coast blowout, with LA rap luminaries both old school and new school filling the bill. The entire weekend leads up to the BET Awards show, which this year will celebrate its 15th anniversary.
