The Black Keys - "Turn Blue"
The Black Keys come correct with a smokey new single, the title-track off their upcoming Turn Blue LP, a follow-up to 2011's El Camino. The Akron-bred power duo delivers a falsetto painted down-tempo rocker , armed with cerebral airy synths, thumping lows and a milky hook. Turn Blue is already hinting at a departure from the harder, progressive blues anthems of past and a step towards more polished songwriting and production. The album (which was announced via disturbing randomly dropped teaser on Mike Tyson's twitter) is due out May 13th via Nonesuch Records and is currently available for preorder via iTunes.
