Tay-K was also sentenced to 30 years in prison on an aggravated robbery charge. In addition, he received two 13-year prison sentences for the two counts of aggravated robbery he caught for the home invasion.

A Tarrant County Jury found Tay-K guilty of murder and robbery on Friday (July 19).
The Texas rapper, born Taymor McIntyre, was accused of participating in a home invasion and robbery in Mansfield in July 2016. During the robbery, a 21-year-old named Ethan Walker was killed.
The now 19-year-old faces between five and 99 years behind bars. According to NBC DFW, the more serious charge of capital murder would have carried a mandatory 40-year sentence.

There was a nationwide manhunt for the teen when a judge released him on home confinement and he cut off his ankle monitor and fled. He released the song and video "The Race" on the same day he was captured in New Jersey. The song charted on the US Billboard Hot 100.
Prosecutors also say he killed a San Antonio photographer and robbed and beat an Arlington man in a park.
McIntyre had previously pleaded not guilty to capital murder charges and pleaded guilty to aggravated robbery on Monday.
