SZA & Isaiah Rashad Jump On Childish Major's New Single "Happy Birthday"
"This is just the beginning. Pay attention to the level up!"
Childish Major may not be the most visible beat constructor on the planet, but that may change soon, as the ATL-native readies his debut solo project. And to commence the march, he's shared the new single "Happy Birthday," featuring none other than TDE's own, SZA and Isaiah Rashad, helping Major cross the finish line of his latest lap around the sun, marking his 25th year.
It's a born day salute that couldn't be further from Stevie's take, reflecting on a relationship gone terribly sour, as opposed to the countless accomplishments of a fallen civil rights hero. There's no date on Childish Major's solo debut, but there's plenty to hold us over until then. One scroll down his Soundcloud page reveals an impressive flip of Desiigner's "Timmy Turner" as well as his take on Erykah Badu's "Window Seat." Listen as SZA and Isaiah Rashad jump on Childish Major's new single down below and keep your ear to the ground for more from Major and our favorite Top Dawgs in the weeks ahead. If the new project is anything like this deceptively somber "Happy Birthday," it'll be worth the wait.
