Pass The Popcorn: 'Straight Outta Compton' Sequel To Follow The Rise Of Snoop, Tupac & More

West Coast veteran Daz follows the release of NWA biopic Straight Outta Compton with news of the planned sequel entitled Dogg Pound For Life. The film will chronicle the rise of Daz and his fellow Dogg Pound Gangstaz Snoop Dogg, Tupac, Kurupt, Nate Dogg and Warren G. The film, which will not be produced by Dr. Dre and Ice Cube, has reportedly received a blessing from the latter. Dre's son Curtis Young will play the role of his producer father in the roundabout sequel, which picks up on the post-NWA wave of West Coast rap royalty. Though the film will include a portrayal of Suge Knight, DPFL's producers will not be working directly with him. News of the impending production comes as SOC continues to dominate at the box office.
