Wondaland Duo St. Beauty Shines In A New Video For The Debut Single "Going Nowhere"
With the arrival of Wondaland‘s Eephus EP, the world was introduced to some powerful new players in the ATLien camp. Namely, Jidenna, who made a very dapper debut with his smash single “Classic Man,” and newcomers St. Beauty, who up until this point, have only been heard on the powerful Wondaland protest anthem “Hell You Talmbout” and the their own contribution to the label compilation “Going Nowhere.”
Today, the duo, comprised singers Alexe Belle & Isis Valentino, have shared a visual for their debut single, brimming with wanderlust and joyousness, following Belle & Valentino from a park-side hang to a full-blown performance where lighters illuminate the stage and their inner-rockers bust loose. The song itself, feels like a chopped-and-screwed, slightly-slurred update to the Gary Numan’s weirdo-pop hit “Cars,” but with a warmer, more visceral touch.
You can watch St. Beauty shine in the video for their debut single “Going Nowhere” down below, just be sure to put a good ear to that Eephus EP to hear just what the collective is up to.
