Tonight, ladies and gentlemen, we’ll bear witness to the 58th annual Grammys ceremony, where all of the stars align to get their due. But, as time has shown, the pinnacle of Grammys excellence is the evening’s musical performances. And if you haven’t heard, Kendrick Lamar is leading the pack not only in nominations for this evening (11,) but also in anticipation of just what to expect when he takes the stage at the Staples Center, just 15 miles outside of his hometown of Compton.

Today, photos have been leaked of the preparations for tonight’s performance, revealing some powerful imagery of K Dot standing in a towering silhouette of Africa, as well jail cells and dancers illuminated by neon body paint and chain-gang scrubs. And though we’ve yet to learn of precisely what we’ll be hearing tonight, it’s looking to be something legendary. Peep the full grip of photos from rehearsal below and tune-in tonight at 8PM EST to see it for yourself. Kendrick Lamar’s critically-cherished To Pimp A Butterfly is available for you to pick up digitally on iTunes today. For the wax treatment, head over to The OKP Shop to get your fix.
