Slum Village & De La Soul Collide On The New J Dilla-Produced Single "Right Back"

Slum Village Shares New J Dilla-Produced Single "Expressive" feat. BJ THE CHICAGO KID

Strong Island & The D connect as Slum Village release their latest single "Right Back" featuring De La Soul and a beat by the gawd J Dilla. As if this morning's shot of Jay Dee-lite wasn't enough, here's a little sliver of what sounds like some fairly early (maybe '94-96 era) Yancey with a cleaner, more straightforward back beat and some super smooth verbal from the legendary crews, respectively. The track is just the latest touch of illness drop from SV's forthcoming Yes! LP, which features an extensive list of guest spots, including Bilal, Jon Connor, Black Milk, J Ivy, Phife Dawg, BJ The Chicago Kid and a bevy of production from Young RJ and the GOAT. Yes! is due June 16th, but you can get busy listening to the latest single "Right Back" at this very moment. Preorder the record on iTunes today and peep the full track list in all its meaty glory below.
