Run The Jewels Call Up Zach De La Rocha & Gangsta Boo Live At Pitchfork Fest

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

Run the Jewels took Pitchfork Music Festival by storm earlier this month, charging through their catalog of searing, couldn't-be-bothered-to-give-a-fuck cuts. They also brought some accomplices.

In the midst of their performance, Killer Mike and El-P welcomed Zach De La Rocha to the stage to perform his featured verse on the RTJ2 cut "Close Your Eyes (And Count to Fuck)." With the Rage Against the Machine MC firing on all cylinders, the moment became a clear highlight of the entire Pitchfork weekend, and has thankfully been preserved in the form of high-quality video, which you can watch below.

Later in their set, Run the Jewels also brought out Gangsta Boo to perform her swaggering verse on "Love Again (Akinyele Back)," with mesmerizing results. Watch both performances below, via Pitchfork, and check out RTJ's full fall tour schedule after the clips. Check out Okayplayer's own photo essay and exclusive recap of the Pitchfork Music festival here.
