Prophets of Rage To Perform Surprise Show On Sunday In Brooklyn

The third day of Governors Ball has been canceled, but the show goes on for Prophets of Rage.

The new supergroup, which is made up of members of Rage Against the Machine, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill, will perform at Warsaw in Brooklyn, New York City on Sunday evening. The box office opens at 5:00 p.m., the doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show is scheduled to kick off at 9:00 p.m.

Proceeds from the show will be given to WhyHunger. Meanwhile, attendees with a Governors Ball wristband will only be charged $10, and customers without a bracelet will pay $20.

Prophets of Rage was previously scheduled to perform a surprise set at the Governors Ball on Sunday, but the final day of the festival, as mentioned above, was canceled due to inclement weather.

The members of the group include Chuck D, B-Real, Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, Brad Wilk and DJ Lord. After announcing their formation in late March, the group performed its first show on Wednesday, June 1 to a sold out crowd at Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles. And on Friday, they had another L.A. show at The Hollywood Palladium.
