Last August, Prince’s estate and Sony Legacy released 23 albums from his NPG Records catalog to streaming services.

Prince's Estate also approved the posthumous 2017 deluxe edition release of Purple Rain, featuring unreleased tracks, and 2018's  recovered in-studio demo tape, Piano & a Microphone 1983.
