After his marathon set at SXSW last weekend, the official word is out that Prince will be touring the west coast this spring. The announcement was made last night on the PRINCE Spreecast with DrFunkenberry which featured a guest appearance from Donna Grantis, Hannah Ford Welton and Ida Nielsen - the ladies of the Purple One's new band, 3rd Eye Girl.
Prince and 3rd Eye Girl will begin their west coast jaunt in Vancouver on April 15th before working their way south through Seattle, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Tempe, and San Diego before wrapping things up on May 8th in Anaheim.
The funky quartet will spend two days in each city on the itinerary, playing two shows each night, and it's rumored that more dates will be added!
