The next couple of years are going to be rough if you're a moviegoer that hates franchises.
Disney has released their movie schedule for the next four years. It's jammed packed. The big news is that there are release dates for the next couple of Star Wars movies: Star Wars: The Last Jedi is coming out December 15th, 2017; the side Han Solo movie, which doesn't have a title yet, but which we know will star Donald Glover, is coming out May 5th, 2018; and Star Wars Episode IX comes out May 24, 2019.
The other exciting news is we have a release date for the live action Lion King movie. That movie, which will star Donald Glover as Simba andJames Earl Jones as Mufasa (again) will come out July 19th, 2019.
There are a couple of untitled live-action Disney movies on the schedule and we can only assume that one of those will be the Aladdin movie (the one that Will Smith may or may not star in.)
Here is an entire look at the schedule, which includes release dates for anticipated movies like Black Panther, Avengers: Infinity War, Toy Story 4, and more.
