Iconic 'PaRappa The Rapper' Video Game To Be Remastered For PS4

Old school Sony Playstation fans will be able to relive their childhoods with an updated version of PaRappa The Rapper coming to PlayStation 4.

On Sunday, the Playstation Europe Twitter account revealed that the classic video game would be remastered for the PS4 console and that a demo was being released on the day of the announcement. The remastered release coincides with the video game's 20th anniversary.

PaRappa The Rapper, which was created by music producer Masay Matsuura and artist Rodney Greenblat in Japan in 1996, portrayed a dog that learned how to rap. Fact Mag reports that the game was one of the first commercially successful rhythm games when it was released in the United States the following year. The game was remade in 2001, and had De La Soul on its soundtrack.
