Honesty seems to be at the core of all the music Open Mike Eagle makes, and also what makes his music so enjoyable/relatable. Mike Eagle’s latest collaboration with Paul White is no different. In this well put together visual for “Admitting the Endorphin Addiction,” as the titles suggests, the issue of addiction is tackled. Mike Eagle is lured in by a beautiful dancing woman (addiction) who takes him to the ultimate high, and then proceeds to drag his life all the way down into the darkness as he continues to follow her regardless.
