Right now, there’s a high school kid in Chicago daydreaming about being the next great music video director.
Yesterday, Jamila and Chance put out a social media blast calling for Chicago-based high school students who can help direct the video for “LSD,” their collabo from Woods’ debut project, HEAVN.
We’re looking for CPS high school students to submit treatments for the ‘LSD’ music video featuring me & @chancetherapper, directed by @samb.chi & @vincent.martell of @vamstudio_ Submissions are due June 2nd. Link to the song in my bio. Tag someone you think should apply! 🌊🌊🌊 #LSD #HEAVN #chicagoovereverything

If picked, the students will have their idea fully executed. They will get the chance to work closely with directors Vincent Martell and Sam Bailey, getting some super valuable hands-on experience. Really good runner-up pitches can also lead to students also working on set in some kind of capacity.
This is a great idea. We are constantly being reminded that sometimes the youngest people with the least amount of resources have the most creativity.
