Michael Jackson Talks Godliness, Recording + More In PBS Latest 'Blank On Blank' Segment

A 22 year-old Michael Jackson guides us through his awkward post-adolescent phase in an unearthed and animated interview ca 1980, brought to life by the good folks at PBS in the latest installment of Blank On Blank. With a little Janet Jackson playing curator for the discussion (just fourteen years old at the time) MJ gave us some keen testimony on his cherished vox and dance moves, as well as where it all comes from, which according to Mike is a divine inspiration.

Just 6 months after his revamped solo debut on Off The Wall, MJ's candid and not all too cryptic, making this another fine selection from the BOB crew, shining some light on the seldom heard, breathy speaking voice of Pop's King, casually waxing in a manner only a twenty-something could. The series has featured rare interviews with James Brown, Tupac, Barry White, Jimi Hendrix, David Bowie and literally the gamut of legendary performers, both from the screen and the speaker. Go ahead and get familiar with Michael Jackson's pre-Thriller days and watch the newest cut from Blank On Blank. Do your research and peep the rest of the segments over at PBS stat.
