While the world continues the age-old wait for the mythical MF DOOM x Ghostface Killah collabo piece, 'Ol Metal Fingers is out here having his way with the work of Wu-Tang at large. On June 17th, Nature Sounds will reissue DOOM's Special Blends Vols. 1 & 2 for the first time since its initial 2004 release in very limited quantities (1,000 to be exact.) And to ready your ears and hearts for that day, the Brooklyn label has offered us a taste of a rare flip from DOOM; one that takes Method Man's namesake Enter The 36 Chambers track and puts it to the wispy full-breeze float of "White Willow Bark" off Special Herbs Vols. 5 & 6, which loops The Blackbyrds' "Love is Love."

Here's one for the DOOM and Shaolin fanatics alike, spruced up by the eternal cool of a legendary funk fusion outfit (led by the gawd, Donald Byrd.) You can hear MF DOOM's flip of "Method Man" down below, just be sure to grab your copy of Special Blends Vols. 1 & 2 via GasDrawls, as they will surely be selling out in a hurry. Stay tuned for updates on the long overdue DOOMSTARKS project with Ghostface.
