The genre-smashing queen M.I.A. has graced the masses with a leak of her forthcoming LP Matangi. In response to an unsanctioned leak the riotous songstress responded with a drop of her own, making the album available for free just days before the official release. Known for her contentious rhymes and electric delivery, the often chaotic soundscape is entrenched with production from Switch, Illangelo and Hit Boy, not to mention a few appearances from recently unveiled Toronto crooner The Weeknd on "Exodus" and the album's closer "Sexodus". The effort boasts some of her patently animated song structures, at times bordering on cartoonish. However, the highly confrontational nature of her lyrical content is certainly a proper juxtaposition. So by all means, peep her upcoming effort below, but be sure to pre-order Matangi before it drops on November 5th.
