OKP Exclusive: Just Blaze Joins Freeway & BADBADNOTGOOD To Rock "What We Do" Live In The OKAYHOUSE At SXSW

Just Blaze reconnected with longtime homie and collaborator Freeway during the final moments of the Philly Freezer's surprise guest set with BADBADNOTGOOD at our very own, very raucous OKAYHOUSE festivities at SXSW last week. What was already a night of full-fledged musical merriment -- with bar-setting performances from Hiatus Kaiyote, Ibeyi, Greighwolfe, Your Old Droog and THEESatisfaction -- was taken to new heights when BBNG & Free ran through a medley of fan favorites including "Rock The Mic" and "Flipside", damn near shaking that little house on Rainey St. to the ground.  During the set's closing moments the vibes hit fever pitch as Just Blaze stepped out from behind the wheels to join his boy front and center for their hustler's anthem "What We Do." The Canadian jazzpunks had rehearsed the Just Blaze productions to perfection in order to provide proper support for these old friends to rock the capacity crowd, adding a little live & direct to the duo's rugged & raw, which was the perfect culmination of all the magic (dare I say madness) that transpired on that now heavy-worn stage. If you're looking for the full play-by-play on what went down at the OKAYHOUSE, jump back and peep the full recap and gallery of the evening's happenings. Lay your eyes and ears on the OKP exclusive clip of BADBADNOTGOOD with special guests Freeway and Just Blaze putting the work to "What We Do" live at SXSW down below.
