Steeped in nostalgia and dulcet orchestral tones, Juju Rogers and Oddisee's brand new single "Dreams" is the kind of track worthy of an hour-long repeat session. The cut is an early preview of Rogers's upcoming LP From The Life of a Good-For-Nothing, which is due to drop on July 3rd. As the classic, neck-snapping beat from Jusoul orbits like a moon over a cold planet, Rogers and Oddisee flex their introspective might, with Rogers coming clean about his struggles to progress. It's a colorful, slightly-somber tale of self-improvement told by two of the most promising young MC talents in hip-hop today.

Juju is currently signed to Germany-based label Jakarta Records, and "Dreams," we're told, wouldn't have been possible without the behind-the-scenes help of label head Jannis Stürtz. "In 2013 oddisee was staying at the spare room of my flat for a month or so working on music. Around that [same] time Juju was our first intern," Stürtz told Okayplayer. "They got to know one another, enjoyed hanging out together and ended up recording the song."
