Is a Frank Ocean and Chanel Collab On The Way?
Last week, Frank Oceanused the second hour of hisblondedRADIO show on Beats 1 to debut his new single "Chanel." It's a wispy, piano-laden cut that played for an hour straight, only breaking the loop for a remix, featuring A$AP Rocky.
Now the iconic French fashion house that lent its name to the song is showing its own love for Frank, retooling his lyrics in a pair of recent Instagram posts that some are taking as a signal for an upcoming collaboration. Though his high-fashion ways are well-documented at this point, Ocean has never collaborated with a fashion label.
It could be the case that Chanel is just reciprocating the love. But with as many runway shows this dude's sat in the wings for, our bet is there's something a little less wholesome en route.
