Pass The Popcorn: Watch A Preview Of Hannibal Buress' New Comedy Central Series 'Why?'
After inking a sprawling new deal with Comedy Central almost two years ago, Hannibal Buress is finally getting his own show. Why? finds the comedic heavyweight inquiring on topics ranging from why people act like olives are so damn good to ESPN insisting on airing the national spelling bee when most of its viewership couldn't care less, doing it all through a barrage of stand-up and street segments, every week in its eight episode pilot season. The show will also mark Buress' first feature role in a series, following his regular appearances on the network's hit Broad City. Buress may have jumped the gun back when he first signed his deal, but that doesn't seem to have stifled the green light one bit and we're certainly looking forward to what's to come.
Why? premieres July 8th at 10:30pm, but you can get a taste of the show by watching its very first trailer below. And if you happen to be out west next week be sure to catch one of his live dates at either The Warner Grand Theater or on June 27th or the following night at the Arlington Theater.
