'Hamilton: The Musical' Has Eyes On A National Tour Next Year

In 2015, it was hard to escape the glow of Lin-Manuel Miranda's critically-treasured Hamilton: The Musical. In its NYC residency phase, ticket demand may have surpassed even Book Of Mormon levels. And now, according to New York Times, the production has set its sights on a national tour for next year. The cross-country romp will begin in San Francisco in March 2017 at SHN Orpheum Theater for a 21-week stint, continuing on to Los Angeles' Hollywood Pantages Theater for an equally-lengthy run from August 11th through December 30th.

Chicagoans won't have to wait as long for their own close-up with the Hamilton crew, as the show will begin a stay at the PrivateBank Theater in September of this year. And as always, New Yorkers will remain spoiled as the show will continue to indefinitely run at Richard Rodgers Theatre. If you've yet to catch the production, we implore you to do so at your earliest convenience, no matter the cost. Hit the link below to cop your stubs and hold tight for more on Hamilton as we creep closer and closer to The Grammys, where the cast recording (executive produced by Questlove and Black Thought) is nominated for "Best Musical Theater Album."
