Ghostface Killah, RZA, Raekwon & Adrian Younge Collide On "Return Of The Savage"

Musical madman Adrian Younge strikes again, unleashing yet another retrofit heater, this time enlisting in the services of some Shaolin's finest on his latest cut "Return Of The Savage." It's an easy recall to the Golden Age of Wu; gritty, menacing boom-bap, with twisted and tight narrative weaving from the likes of Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and the RZA. The track will be featured on the forthcoming, now wholly confirmed, sequel to Younge and GFK's exceptional 12 Reasons To Die concept piece, arriving this July for an anxious set of ears to lap up. But that's hardly the beginning (or end) of Younge's prolific streak of releases, which began last week with the arrival of the lead-off single from Bilal's soon-to-drop In Another Life LP, continued on with the live and direct debut of their collaboration with Kendrick Lamar "Money Or Love" before the week's end and will once again be realized later this week when Younge drops his label compilation Linear Labs: Los Angeles, from which "Feel Alive" spawned. So if you've yet to have your fill of all the magic Adrian Younge has been cooking up, you'll soon have plenty more to satisfy your hunger. Rock with Ghostface Killah, RZA, Raekwon and Adrian Younge's little slice of early-90s goodness "Return Of The Savage" below and hold tight for the new in the days to come, as there's clearly plenty more on the way.
