Full Crate adds yet another heater to his catalog with the arrival of “Change Me” (Edit) – a rework of Justin Bieber‘s track full of sweet nothings from the 2013 Journals LP. The track follows “Falling Off” – Full Crate’s take on the bump & grind classic “Pony” – and the stellar single “Man x Woman”, which found Crate back in the lab with frequent collaborator Mar. Full Crate breaks the ballad in half and removes the guts before rebuilding the production. The original piano melody takes a back seat to a dope percussive arrangement featuring a decidedly fat backbone, sticky hi-hats and plenty of thump. The keys get repurposed as lush chords anchoring each movement of the seductive production from the perfect dance tempo to an impressive slow jam break. Check the track below to listen to “Change Me” (Edit). Stay tuned for more from Full Crate.
