It was just last week that Esperanza Spalding dropped her funk bomb of a new album, Emily's D+Evolution, to much acclaim from critics and civilians alike. And while we here at OKP HQ have spent much of the days since the album's release attempting to absorb that rich and dense piece of musical tapestry, Spalding given us yet another way to take it in, performing much of the album live and direct for an audience at Brooklyn's BRIC House last week.
