ORFEO - "Quiet Nights" [Official Video]

Lenny Kravitz, Grace Jones, Lauryn Hill, Lion Babe, Thundercat, SZA & More Rock The Afropunk Festival 2015 in Brooklyn, NY.

L.A.-based electro-soul newcomer ORFEO has released the visuals to his single, "Quiet Nights," and the video is only just slightly more androgynous than the singer's impressive falsetto. A classically trained opera singer, ORFEO glides around his high range with ease, giving us an immediate "if Maxwell and Prince had a musical baby" kind of vibe that we really cannot be mad at. The video is a little bit of a trip, following ORFEO as both the male and female leads, but both roles feel almost as comfortable for him as the soft-moving electro beat of the track suggests. "Quiet Nights" and its flip side "No Substitution" were both co-written by Robin Hannibal of Quadron note and released on Quieres Chicle Records, the imprint responsible for last year's dope Quadron collab with soul vet Leon Ware.
