OKP Premiere: Computer Jay Gives Electric Wire Hustle's "Look In The Sky" A Beautiful, Buzzing Remix
The past weeks have proven to be particularly fruitful in the case of soul music futurists Electric Wire Hustle. The New Zealand-bred duo -- comprised visceral vocalist Mara TK and dynamic do-it-all Taay Ninh -- are currently running a marathon through Germany on the tail-end of their European tour, but are still dropping bombs from well across the pond. Last Wednesday, they delivered the brooding non-album cut "Golden Ladder" and not even a week later we're being treated to the buzzing and beautiful Computer Jay remix to their Love Can Prevail standout "Look To The Sky."
The LA-based producer cakes the whispery sonic concoction with layers of rapturous synths and puts it all against a supreme shuffle that will induce instant stank-face syndrome. The rework comes to us from EWH's forthcoming Love Can Prevail Remix LP, which doesn't have a firm time arrival just yet, but you can look forward to it landing at some point in late May with additional flips from Yoruba Soul, Flako and Eliphino. Keep one ear to the ground and the other on this ill remix of Electric Wire Hustle's "Look In The Sky" from Computer Jay. Jump back to peep the dance-floor freaker Seven Davis Jr. concocted with the bones of this joint.
