Fresh off the release of his 4xLP vinyl anthology treatment, Egyptian Lover and damn-near the whole Stones Throw crew have cooked up a very vintage visual treatment for the synthesizer and drum machine blitz of "I Cry (Night After Night)." Pastels, neons and all of the purply pinks dominate this retro-fit audiovisual explosion, oozing with the glittery stuff of 1980-something. Which is all good and grand, but not nearly all that Egypt has in store for us in the weeks ahead. On top of 1983-1988, Egyptian Lover will be joining in on the Stones Throw 20th anniversary celebrations as the Pasadena crew heads east to rock well across the Pacific.
