DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince Are Reuniting to Perform a UK Show This Summer

Last year, DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince (also known as rapper-turned-actor-extraordinaire, Will Smith) celebrated the 30th anniversary of their first single "Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble." And though Smith expressed interest in actually touring in support of the milestone on The Ellen Show (regretting never having the opportunity to do so when the song was released,) a tour never materialized. They were both spotted at last year's Roots Picnic in their hometown of Philly, where Smith joined his daughter, Willow, in performing the duo's 1991 classic, "Summertime" (celebrating a coinciding 25th anniversary.)

Now it appears at least UK fans will get their shot to see the duo in action. Jazzy Jeff and Smith will perform a reunion show at Livewire Festival in Blackpool on Sunday, August 27th, with The Jacksonand The Hit Factory set as headliners for the two nights prior. Tickets for the festival go on-sale tomorrow, April 25th. Hit the link below to grab yours. Earlier this year, Jazzy Jeff dropped an excellent new entry to his catalog, Chasing Goosebumps, which features contributions from James Poyser, Stro Elliot, Rich Medina, Aaron Camper, Eric Lau, Teeko, SiR and more. Grab a copy of that on iTunes today and see the duo perform in a rare clip from 1987 below.
