I don’t know how this is possible, but Despot just released his first music video ever. That doesn’t seem right, but yeah, first video. Despot takes us live and direct to his “House of Bricks,” with starring roles from the family and all that (his parents, his brother, and his iguana Rex). The E*VAX (of Ratatat) produced song is set to be the lead single from Despot’s long awaited debut album, We’re All Excited. Of his debut LP, the Queens rapper had this to say to The Fader: "I'd like to say that it's close, it feels like it's getting closer… Most of the delay has just been me deciding that I don't like the songs that I'm making most of the time.” Watch the Evan Mast (E*VAX) directed video, below.
