It's been long-gossiped that the folks at Coachella have been plotting an NYC satellite festival for us east coasters to enjoy without extensive travel arrangements. Today, lo and behold, they announced just that: Panorama Music Festival, which will take place on the weekend of July 22-24 at Randall's Island Park, bringing along with it an incredibly deep roster of A-list and up-and-coming talent alike.
Headlining this year's inaugural installment of Panorama is none other than Kendrick Lamar, but that's just the tip. The line-up also features Alabama Shakes, A$AP Rocky, FKA twigs, Madlib, Kaytranada, Run The Jewels, SZA, Schoolboy Q and too many more for us to list in these few hundred words. One thing is for sure: the east is certainly in for a treat. Peep the full line-up and ticketing information for the first annual Panorama Music Festival by hitting the link below. Just be sure you're ready to break the bank. 3-day passes are running at a whopping $369, and that doesn't even include shuttle or ferry costs. A technology component and curation for the festival will be handled by The Verge, who have partnered with artists to create Future Lab: an installation that explores the cross-section of music and tech.
