Chet Faker Marcus Marr The Trouble With us

Australian electronic star Chet Faker has been hard at work preparing a new record, it seems. Faker will release Work, a new EP made in collaboration with British dance DJ Marcus Marr, on Decmeber 4th and together the duo has shared the record's lead single, an uptempo funk number cut dubbed "The Trouble With Us."
Work will feature four tracks and is reportedly the final product of years of mutual admiration between Faker and Marr. The two made the new EP during a four day session in Marr's South London studio and plan to release it on Faker's own label, Detail Records / Downtown Records.

In a press release, Marr stressed what a thrill it was to witness the duo's tunes come together. "As far as working out lyrics and music the guy is super-talented. He writes all his lyrics in his black book and he loves his pen."
