Busdriver Collides w/ Mr. Carmack & Anderson Paak On New Single "Worlds To Run" (prod. Kenny Segal)
It's been a minute since we caught up with LA's king of subversive wordplay and rhyme-schemes, Busdriver. But with a new mixtape due out in just a few weeks' time, BD's commencing the welcoming parade for his first official project since last year's Perfect Hair release with a massive collaborative effort, tapping the likes of half-rap/half-croon rap-game darling Anderson Paak, Soulection's Mr. Carmack and Milo for the ethereal new single "Worlds To Run." Paak handles the hook, BD delivers another eccentric lyrical performance and Carmack steps away for the boards to lend the track a sweeping horn arrangement. The track itself is produced by fellow LA-native Kenny Segal, who loops a wickedly simple guitar trill and laces the cut with some slightly swung drum work to keep your head knocking through and through. Busdriver's new tape Thumbs is slated for an October 30th release. Until then, rock with his latest joint "Worlds To Run" below.
