There appears to be no rest for A$AP Rocky. Stepping into the recording booth during Pharrell's OTHERtoneBeats 1 Radio program, Rocky recently confirmed that he and production giant Danger Mouse are currently hard at work on a "far out" concept album.
As Pigeons & Planes points out, Rocky got on the topic of upcoming work while chatting with Pharrell, and then proceeded to drop the bomb. “What’s important about this, he told me, ‘yo dude, you bring out a side in me that I need’. And I feel he brings out a side in me. We got records, I can’t wait to let you hear them.” Rocky and DM collaborated on multiple A.L.L.A. songs, and when Pharrell asked if might be able to get involved with the upcoming concept record, the his guest was all too happy to oblige.
Danger Mouse, for his part, has been keeping busy with projects including Raury's upcoming LP, the highly-anticipated new Adele project and his very own record label, which might very well serve as a crucial platform for this new, still-growing concept disc. Pick up AT.LONG.LAST.A$AP on iTunes today and check out A$AP Rocky's current tour itinerary below.
