A$AP Bari, the VLONE fashion designer and co-founding member of the A$AP Mob collective, appeared in court in London Thursday morning and plead guilty to sexual assault.
Bari, born Jabari Shelton, was arrested in May 2018 and charged with two counts of sexual assault after an incident at a London Hotel.
According to Sky News, the 27-year-old was ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and $3150 compensation to the woman.
The Daily Mail reports Judge Zoe Smith QC stated, “The court does have concerns in this matter because it has exposed a very unpleasant attitude by you towards women.”

In July of 2017, Bari was implicated in a graphic video posted online that appeared to show him verbally and sexually assaulting a woman in a hotel bedroom. He had called the video "misleading" and went on to sue his accuser for defamation. Shortly after, Nike had cut ties with the designer amidst a planned sneaker deal.
In November 2018, the woman reportedly was in the process of suing Bari for over $1 million.
