MPC maestro araabMUZIK comes through with some new heat, letting loose the boom of "TORO," off his forthcoming For Professional Use Only 2 tape. What starts as a light, synthy and psychedelic sonic, morphs into a joint that burns slow with little draw. It's a more lush, straightforward heater that shows us the beatsmith can sit-back and just let something rock too (instead of delivering an onslaught of finger fury on the pads.) The new jawn's got a distinctly Dilla quality to it (at least in the drums) boasting big, deep kicks and tight, crisp snares. Not to mention, a supremely earthy lick on the bass to carry that low end under a loop that's drenched in phased horns and bright keys.
This is but the latest drop from his For Professional Use Only 2 tape, which will be landing on digital shelves September 1st with a hefty 30 tracks of funk. Until then, take a long, deep pull of araabMUZIK's new flame "TORO" below and be sure to stay tuned for more or head over to his Soundcloud to get another fix. Preorder the album via iTunes today and brace yourself for some new bangers from the contemporary king of Roger Linn's magic machine.
