Bun B’s wife, Queenie, shared that her and Pimp C’s Port Arthur home was ravaged by the effects of Hurricane Harvey.

Soon after she put up the post, Chinara Butler, Pimp C’s widow, reposted the post. Queenie also mentioned in the post that UGK‘s archives were destroyed because of Harvey.

And then both of the posts were deleted. But not before Houston rapper Doughbeezy reposted the picture, as well:

Obviously, a post like this is going to spread. And numerous publications aggregated the story. Which would explain the post Chinara put up this evening.

Moments ago she put up a post refuting what has been reported. Using a screenshot of the DJ Vlad story, Chinara wrote fake news in red marker. She said that Chad is safe and that she did not “confirm anything regarding UGK archives and memorabilia being destroyed:”
