The Block Party is coming to Philadelphia.

The lineup for the 2018 Roots Picnic has just been announced. And, as expected, it's stacked. The festival, which is going on its 11th year, will be headlined by The Roots themselves, who will be doing one of their infamous jams session. What's going to make this jam session special is that it will be hosted by the one and only Dave Chappelle.

Oh, and they're bringing friends. "Mad, mad, mad" friends, according to Questlove himself who spent the night teasing the lineup on his Instagram:

Also at the top of the bill for the one-day festival is  Lil Uzi Vert, Dirty Projectors, and The Diplomats (who just reunited in New York City back in November.)

That's not all. Performers like Brandy, DVSN, 2 Chainz, 6LACK, Rapsody, GoldlinkRich the Kid, Sun Ra Arkestra and more are hitting the stage. And, we should mention, Black Thought is bringing back his live mixtape set with J. Period; this time he's collaborating with Fabolous and Jadakiss, who will be doing cuts from their Friday on Elm Street project.

In addition to the Music Stages, where all the performers are going to be at, there is also going to be Podcast Stage, where rapper Noreaga will do an episode of Drinking Champs, and a Lifestyle Stage, which will include video game tournaments.

The festival is going down at Philly’s Festival Pier on Saturday, June 2. It's going to be tough to top last year's headliner, Pharrell who was backed by The Roots (a performances so good, it made our News Editor cry.) But the band is going to try.
