New father of triplets and maybe 20x that many in hits, Pharrell, has certainly been keeping occupied. In the weeks since gracing the stage of the 10th annual Roots Picnic for a headlining set with the evening's hosts, the perennial powerhouse has been making the press stops in support of Despicable Me 3, for which he was tapped (for a third consecutive run) as soundtrack helmer.

But the "Mister Me Too" producer's latest stop found him foreshadowing the many 2017 projects still up his sleeve. While on-set with The Today Show, Pharrell revealed that he'd heard both Ariana Grande and Justin Timberlake's new albums, dubbing them both "amazing," and, presumably speaking on the long-rumored, long-delayed fifth studio album from N.E.R.D. or has he puts it: "another album that I can't talk about but all my fans know about it."

"It's coming," says the producer with visible restraint. When, however, has yet to be determined. We are currently celebrating the 15th anniversary of In Search Of... and there's certainly no shortage of new music from the hitmaker in circulation with recent contributions to songs from Mike Will Made-It, Calvin Harris and more in recent months. So maybe this has all been a warm-up for N.E.R.D.'s big moment? Time will tell.
