A month ago came video of Nile Rodgers jamming alongside Anderson .Paak, Bruno Mars, and Disclosure at Abbey Road Studios. Although it is unknown what exactly the ensemble was working on and who it was for (the video was soundtracked by NxWorries' "Khadijah") the clip is undeniably a treat as we see the group of talented musicians work with each other in one of the most iconic recording studios of all time.

Now, in a recent interview with M magazine, Rodgers talked about working with .Paak, revealing that .Paak was someone he really wanted to make music with.

"He's amazing," Rodgers said of the Malibu creator. "His musicality, the level of his musicianship — I'm an old school guy so I want to play with people that really know how to play. We went into the studio and we just played. The amount of music we created in those few days at Abbey Road is extraordinary."

Hopefully, fans will get to hear some of that music sometime soon. Until then, you can catch .Paak or Rodgers on their own respective tours. Rodgers will be embarking on a tour this summer as a part of his legendary disco group Chic, along with funk and soul legends Earth, Wind and Fire.

Titled the "2054: The Tour," the tour will begin on July 12 in Oakland, California, and end on August 22 in Detroit, Michigan. Tickets go on sale to the public on April 28.

"There was a time when we could only dream of 'seeing' Earth, Wind & Fire live, now we get the honor of sharing the stage together," Rodgers said in a statement. "Get your feet ready for a deluge of hits." Earth, Wind & Fire is currently on a tour of their own, with that tour wrapping up on June 24 in Aspen, Colorado.
