LL Cool J to Headline Upcoming Rock the Bells-Sponsored Tour

Upcoming North American hip-hop tour The F.O.R.C.E. will feature LL Cool J, The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and DJ Z-Trip with additional special guests.

With help from Live Nation, LL Cool J is bringing Rock the Bells to a city near you. On Tuesday (April 15), upcoming summer tour The F.O.R.C.E. (Frequencies of Real Creative Energy) Live, was announced, headlined by the two-time Grammy-winner.

Joining LL are Philadelphia’s own The Roots and DJ Jazzy Jeff, along with DJ Z-Trip. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of hip-hop, in select cities, The F.O.R.C.E. Live will bring out legendary hip-hop acts like Salt-N-Pepa, Queen Latifah, Rakim, Common, MC Lyte, Method Man & Redman, Big Boi, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Ice T, Juvenile, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, De La Soul, Goodie Mob, Jadakiss, Rick Ross and more.

“I’m excited to be on my first Arena tour in 30 years. It’s proof that our culture is more viable than ever. Get ready for some non stop beats and rhymes. See you this summer!” LL said in a press statement.

The F.O.R.C.E. Live begins June 25 at the TD Garden in Boston, with additional dates in Brooklyn, Baltimore, D.C., Detroit, St. Louis, and Houston before ending at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum on September 3. LL and Black Thought of The Roots last performed together as part of the special 50th anniversary of hip-hop tribute during the 2023 Grammys.

The annual Rock the Bells Festival will return to Forest Hills Stadium in Queens this August, while the RTB will also hold its inaugural hip-hop cruise, which sets sail from Miami to the Bahamas in November.

General tickets for The F.OR.C.E. Live go on sale Friday, April 28th at 10 a.m. local time.
