Last night, the rapper held yet another listening party for the album in Washington, DC ahead of a Sunday Service performance at Howard University. Attendees report the rapper announcing Jesus is King will (tentatively) arrive on October 25th, now sharing a release date with an IMAX-exclusive documentary of the same name. He reportedly noted, "I'm making it better for y'all."

During the Howard stop, West maintained an overtly political tone. In a clip from the performance (see below,) the rapper exclaims, "If they're throwing slave nets again, how about we all don't stand in the exact same place."

Jesus is King was initially slated for a September 27th release. It was then pushed back to September 29th before being indefinitely postponed. And while the new album failed to launch on any of the aforementioned drop dates, a leaked version of his scrapped Yandhiproject miraculously appeared on Spotify for a brief stint last week.
