R. Kelly's Girlfriend Joycelyn Savage Addresses Hacked Patreon Page

UPDATE: Joycelyn Savage has shared the previous Patreon page was not her, claims she was hacked.

R. Kelly's girlfriend Joycelyn Savage clears the air about the recent Patreon page that was accredited to her name and claims she was allegedly "hacked." In a video shared with TMZ, Savage shared not only was the account not hers but that she is still in a relationship with Kelly who is currently in jail for numerous charges from different states.

For most of the clip she reads off of an iPhone while she expands on her connection with Kelly, "I just want everyone to know, we still support him and we will never betray him." She goes on to say that she is in regular contact with him via phone calls every day and also visits him regularly in jail.

Savage's family released a statement through their lawyer Greg Giggs after the aforementioned video was posted, they shared that they are "saddened and disappointed to learn that Joycelyn Savage has said that she was not the person operating the Patreon account."

The statement also read:

"We deeply desired to hear her story and in her own voice outside of the presence of Robert Sylvester Kelly or anyone associated with him. For nearly three years, Joycelyn Savage has not been able to speak outside of a controlled environment created by Mr. Kelly. Her video today was not any different."

Take a look at the video below.

Savage is finally telling her side of the story, but for a price.

R. Kelly's girlfriend, Joycelyn Savage, has abandoned her defense of the disgraced singer.

This morning, Savage launched a Patreon page on which she's begun to share disturbing details of a sexually and psychologically abusive relationship with Kelly, echoing the stories of those heard in dream hampton's bombshell documentary, Surviving R. Kelly.

In her first post to the crowdfunding platform, Savage explained how Kelly (or Robert, as she exclusively refers to him) manipulated her with promises of stardom as a model and musician, even recording a few songs with her that would never see release, according to the testimony. She goes on to describe how Kelly became more controlling by the day, demanding she refers to him as "Daddy" or "Master," and would assign his assistants to constantly surveil her, even as she showered. Savage also noted that in upcoming posts she intends to share unknown details of Kelly's relationship with the late Aaliyah, who the singer illegally married when she was 15.

The break from Kelly's side marks a complete pivot from Savage's defense of the singer as recently as March. In an interview with Gayle King, Savage claimed that she was willingly living with the singer at the time, refuting her parents' charges of being brainwashed by Kelly as false and an attempt to "get money and scam."

Kelly has repeatedly denied any and all accusations, dismissing his charges as a smear campaign. He is currently being held without bail in a Chicago prison for sex crimes charges in multiple states.
