Flight Of The Conchords Are Reuniting And Hitting The Road
As this year's festival circuit comes to a close, the spring is already shaping up to be a potent post-hibernation schedule for concertgoers, particularly those in the UK.
On top of D'Angelo's first shows in the kingdom in what will be three years by the time they actually happen, Kiwi comedic outfit Flight of The Conchords appears to be getting the band back together. They've announced a nine-date run in the UK, commencing with back-to-back nights at Eventim Apollo in London on March 19th and 20th. They'll play throughout England with stops in Dublin and Glasgow along the way. According to Pitchfork, the tour will bring them back to the UK for the first time in seven years. Since their 2009 departure from HBO, both Jemaine and Bret have developed successful careers as actors and music composers in TV and film. The former stars in FX's Legion, the latter writing music for The Simpsons and The Muppets over the last few years.
